Who I Am
I'm a dual credit high school graduate with an Associates of Science, currently taking a year off for work while I save money for college. I was tenth in my class with a 3.48 GPA, and I'm going to mathematics major, with aspirations to be a math teacher. In my free time I do recreational singing and acting. I'm also a paid tutor for "first steps" (kindergarten and 1st grade) through high school students ranging from ages of 4 to 20.
My Experiences
When I was 16 years old I was selected to participate in an architecture camp called Camp ARCH, sponsored and hosted by A&M College Station.
Camp Arch is an exclusive week-long interdisciplinary experience designed to acquaint students with the study of and potential careers in professions utilizing architecture, visualization, construction science, landscape architecture, and urban planning.
Activities include lectures, design/building activities, digital photo, video editing and presentations by faculty in the College of Architecture. Additional activities include workshops in basic design and materials, individual and group projects, a review and critique of projects, and information about attending Texas A&M University and the College of Architecture.

My thoughts are summarized as follows...
I loved the Camp Arch experience. Every moment was filled with something else to enjoy, but my favorite thing by far was the large project we were focused in on the entire week.
The room was divided into nine tables, in a square shape. Each table represented a city block, and as such we had to work not only with our teams, but the teams surrounding us to make not only successful blocks, but a successful community. Since we had the center block, we thought we'd do something that would be accessible for the entire community. Our logo, Impact Designs, was about making a fashionable impact onto each project we did.
This can be seen in the photos of our final products, seen below in the slide show. The area to the north of us did a vintage shopping center and drive in, to the left there was a shopping center/ apartment complex, to the southwest was a catholic church as well as a school. To the south was a creative museum that was made of glass walls, all of the art was on a center wall that had a spiral case going up it. Then to our right was a large hotel complex, which made great cover from when the sun was setting. With all of these surroundings, we didn't think the city needed more land build up, but a natural place that was safe enough to relax, but also a place to have fun and be with friends and family.
With this in mind, we began designing our block with a pool to the east side to accommodate the hotel, a walking trail around the majority of our park, a covered pavilion with access to a green roof through a large ramp, a gazebo, a flower garden, and two bathroom facilities with a changing house for the pool.
Our design turned out quite well, and all the team members were able to work together and create a fantastic final product.

A Little Bit (More) About Me
I've taken unique course work such as Introduction to Engineering, Principles of Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, Latin 1 and 2, and College Level Chemistry, Biology, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Trigonometry. I attended Texas A&M University in the Spring of 2015 as a physics major, after graduating from high school in the Fall of 2014. I withdrew from Texas A&M University in March of 2015, and transferred to The University of Texas at Tyler, this time as a Pre-Med Biology major. While in Tyler, I began working at the Mathnasium of Tyler, a math tutoring center. I withdrew from The University of Texas at Tyler, due to changing my major to mathematics, which would have caused every credit to count towards nothing but my hour maximum. I currently am employed at the Mathnasium of North Dallas, saving money to return to college.
My Resume
This is my official resume, it includes my schooling, my unique classes and schools, and the clubs that I've actively been involved it.
